Millennium Teleservices is the fourth largest outbound telemarketing company in the US. Since 1988, we have been building the largest telemarketing database based on the results of our fundraising calling. Today, our database covers all 50 states and has identified millions of US households that answer their phone in a language other than English. Unlike telemarketing lists that claim to identify “Hispanic” households, our “Non-English” lists that are based on a live phone call and not external demographics or last name prejudices.

In 2001, Millennium made the decision to test outbound telemarketing to Hispanic households. Initially, we did not realize the “value” of our own internal database of “Non-English” marked households. We assumed that professional list compilers or brokers would have the best Hispanic telemarketing lists. When we tested these lists, we found that many of the households did not speak Spanish or they did not use Spanish as their preferred communication channel.

In 2002, Millennium tested lists created from our own internally marked “Non-English” records. The results from our internal lists were significantly higher than the brokered lists. On average, our internal lists had double the sales per hour when compared to our English lists. Our results confirmed that our calling-model generated valuable marketing lists that could be re-contacted with Spanish-speaking telemarketing agents..
